Saturnus is one of Denmark’s most respected doom / death metal names. The band’s history stretches back to 1991, when vocalist Thomas AG Jensen began his search for musicians to play with.
Since then, the group released an album every five years in changing line-ups, but since comeback album “Saturn in Ascension” was released last year, there were six years lately.
It did not prevent a unanimous reviewer corps to praise the plate to the skies, which was clearly influenced by Saturnus’ intense touring activity throughout Europe in 2011!
We will play our 20th Anniversary show at Amager Bio on August 31st, 2013.
